Sensei Robinson began karate at the age of 14 in 1986. He started studying karate at the Salvation Army Boys and Girls Club. The style of karate was Shotakon. Sensei Robinson acheived a Brown Belt but at the age of 19 he took a break from karate and didn't compete for the Black Belt.

Six years later Sensei Robinson came back to karate with a focus on the style of Shorin-Ryu Sensei Robinson didn't start from his brown belt, he had to start from ground zero. When at the level of Brown Belt Sensei Robinson started teaching small classes once a week.

After a year Sensei Robinson started teaching 2 classes a day. At the age of 30 Sensei Robinson acheived his Black Belt. At 32 he his achieved second stripe. Now at the age of 37 he has his third stripe.

Sensei Robinson was born in Charlotte, North Carolina and stayed there until he was 14. Then came to Maryland to share his passion of karate with the community.
